Just read that he will miss his first match with Sunderland because of the incident with Hutton while he was still at Hull. Is that true?

If true that sucks that he will miss the season opener.

I would love to see Besler in the EPL, but Sunderland just signed Valentin Roberge and Modibo Diakite at CB. Plenty of teams I think he could find time at, like we were saying earlier, if Tim Ream gets a move, I'm not sure why Matt Besler doesn't.

It's comming. Especially if he keeps performing well in international games.

Besler should go to the Bundesliga. Freiburg or Maiz or a team like that.

the Arsenal fans i was talking to this weekend in a-dam basically said the same thing. The Sunderland fan in their group got all butt hurt

Has Besler been linked anywhere?

I'd love to see Omar in Europe as well. He has to learn to concentrate the whole game, especially when dealing with strikers who have more guile.

Is sunderland still being linked with giaccherini? It would be awesome if they added him.

I can see him in the EPL easily. Solid defender.

Besler had numerous offers from foriegn clubs, primarily from england and mexico. he turned them down to stay home.

Edit: after review known offers were from; Gent, Birmingham City, QPR, and Club America.

He made a good choice staying home.
