When was the last time he played for the US? Jesus Christ, We don't have another striker capable of scoring goals like that. Dempsey maybe. I know he's had his issues and injuries and all that. But if he's healthy and playing, why isn't he getting call ups?
We need strikers so bad. Attacking players in general, really. Our team is so boring these days. Not nearly enough dynamic players.

When he was with the NYRB he scored several jawdroppers like this. Then, he would just completely disappear for several matches.

Easy there sailor. Swagudelo is notorious for disappearing for long stretches of play. Don't get me wrong, he can score some beauts, but he is so unreliable.

I disagree man. We have a defending problem and an attacking problem. The top level players are just not there. Our overall player pool has probably more talent than ever, but it's still not good. The gulf in class when I watch this US team play a good European or South American team is massive. It's getting better I think but the problem is everyone is getting better too

bc he was playing first team soccer and Juan was just well in space somewhere.
Give it a season and we lets go from there. It just sucks bc his lack of caps is why he couldn't get a work permit.
