Two loses and you don't qualify for thr Olympics or the World Cup .... would be disastrous for the growth of the game and a complete and utter failure for the Federation.

Gents, i don't know about you all but my is ready.

Buckle in, tonight will be interesting.

shite, what I meant was - how did we end up in this situation?

All I have heard about is how many bad arse players we have coming up (bunch of guys playing in Europe). What got us to this point. Is JK gone?

Jurgen being really, really bad at his job.

If we lose tonight, I don't see how he keeps his job.

We do have some, but they are only 17.

If we lose tonight who in their right mind would want the job until the next cycle?

A lot of people significantly more capable than Jurgen.

Gianluigi Buffon said he wants to coach the USMNT team when he's done playing. No doubt in my mind he could step in tonight and do a better job than Jurgen. An Italian that's spent over a decade in Serie A would be amazing. It'll never happen.

The context of the quote is a little confusing to me

quote:

Still, Buffon does have broader dreams. And while he is not necessarily attracted to what is unofficially known as the David Beckham path — that is, cashing in on name recognition while playing a few final seasons in America or elsewhere — Buffon is intrigued by the United States for a more unusual reason: He wants to run its national team.

“The United States has always been an important reference point for me,” he said during a recent interview at the Juventus training complex. Then he smiled. “I will probably end up there, sooner or later,” he said.

We suck pretty bad but we are going to qualify out of this group.

Olympics is a different matter.

That's my feeling too. I'm way more nervous about this Olympics qualifier than I am about potentially missing the hex.

Yeah, I think we'll win tonight, but I'm by no means confident about thinking that.

We will win and Jurgy will say something like "I knew what we needed to do to get a result and the players took advantage of the opportunities given to them and performed to the level they are capable."

So Basically JK is the Les Miles version of an international soccer manager? I mean this is about as Les Miles of a quote as you can get
