Finally getting to play this morning. Agree it feels heavy but I like it. Overall movement feels better and more realistic than 15. Passing is a little wonky.
Only real complaint is player names and status bars. I was just driving up the right with KDB and the bar was swapping between kompamy and toure for half the way. Finally got to KDB.
This game is cheat mode with City. Boot it down the left to Sterling, cross to Silva or Aguero. KDB's hair is beautiful.

I use the new RB + A passing for better crosses. Drive it into the box to a specific player rather than some loopy cross BS. One touch into the back of the net.

It is driven passing. It basically just adds a lot of power but I find it has better control than if I use standard crosses (all three variants).
The player on the receiving end my have trouble controlling it but I find they can redirect it for a one touch shot without too much trouble.

After playing a bit, I've noticed that youth players no longer magically grow on May 1st. The only way to get players to get better seems to be through training. In general, the ratings seem to be a considerable bit lower, too. I've also noticed that youth players still seem to grow about 7" but it seems more random. 1 guy I signed was 5'0", then I signed him and he became 5'7". Other players don't grow when you sign them.

The May 1st call out is spot on. I never notice the height of players unless goalkeeper or CBs.

Started my pro career. Got loaned to Plymouth Argyle. On some pitches the grass pattern changes from in-game to replay.

Only big gripe I have of now is how often/easily the AI can switch play. I like seeing it since it was pretty rare in past versions but damn it is too much. I'm in L2 and guys are routinely just popping it all the way to the other side flawlessly.

Was unbeaten through 6 games. After that it seemed like everybody in my team had their form drop. Lost 5-4 in extra time to Newcastle in Capital One Cup and QPR overtook us at the top of the table. Lost 3-0 to Brighton & Hove and called it quits for the day.

So apparently last years version you could unlock the achievement to have your club taken over by a billionaire.
Hopefully its only just at random in this one.
Also can you straight up quit your job like in other years and go looking for other jobs. Last year looking for new jobs was a disaster with what only open and not being able to leave your club for another challenge.

I found some kid named Rojas that had been solid for me. Winger that has great speed and has become my go to scorer. He is around a 72 now in my career.
I also signed Julian Green and he is terrific. Can play RM, RW, or even ST. Plays with pace and is a 71 for me. I bought him for $1.7M with wages of 30K. The wages hurt more than the fee. I almost signed RLC but I couldn't afford he and Green. He was $2.2M.

Pro career is better, wish you had more options but I've had that complaint since 14
Another minor annoyance, why don't accomplishments show you goals/assists/etc. numbers? Mine just has some blank status bar to track progress.
