Yeah i'd rather head to head. If we can split everyone up so that can happen this year that'd be great. Then we can take top and bottom halves and put then into respective league 1 and 2.

TD Premiership
SB Championship

Woo boy.

EDIT: I'm with GeauxColonels. We need to go all out with this like they do on other sites. I'm talking logos, kits, the whole shebang.

I'd love to do this.

I'd prefer H2H in two separate leagues. No preference on drafting. I'll do any way.

Also, since there are so many people, we could split everyone up into leagues. Whoever does the worst this year ends up in division 2 next year, and whoever does well ends up in the SB premier league next year. The idea of our own relegation and promotion system would be fricking awesome and would encourage year long participation even more.

I'm thinking that Finn's should be the league sponsor.

Done. Get Glass to talk them into doing drink specials for members. We should make shirts.

We need two league commishes.

Need to decide what format we are going to use first.

Draft? Keeper format? Scoring system?

I like draft with a keeper format. Can only keep a max of 3 players. Can't keep anyone drafted in the first 3 rounds. If you keep a player, you must give up your draft pick 2 rounds ahead of where you picked him. Example:

You pick Steven Gerrard in the 8th round. If you keep him for the next season, you lose your 6th round pick in that draft. Basically prevents teams from stock piling talent.

If you decide to keep a free agent, your last pick is removed. Example:

We do 20 rounds. If you pick up Steven Gerrard off of free agency and decide to keep him for the next season, you lose your 20th pick. If you decide to keep another free agent also, you lose your 19th round pick. And so on.

Too complicated?

Hmm. How about this?

You can keep one GK.
You can keep one player you picked in the first 3 rounds. A captain, if you will.
You can keep one more outfield player outside of the first 3 rounds.

I'm a little worried about the 20 team format. I think that might be too many for a draft style. 10 would be much more realistic.

Also, if we wanted to get really crazy cool, we could do say 5 different leagues of 10 people. At the end of season 1, the top 2 teams from all 5 leagues go into a separate "Champions League" tournament. I haven't worked out the logistics in my head yet, but I'm working on it.

Last year over 100 played I'm pretty sure. We could easily get 50.
