Or, you could say both Russia and Poland go home to what Russian fans feel is Russia.

Germany used to claim part of Poland as their own

Did the Russian player get an assist on the Greek goal? he headed the throw-in to a perfect spot for the Greek player to run in on goal and score

without their captain... who sits out for 2 yellows (and the 1 today was bogus... should've been a PK... not a yellow for Greece)

I don't think it should have been a penalty, but that card was a bad decision. Karagounis didn't dive. I wonder if he can appeal the suspension. He certainly has a case.

Russians were great in the first half but not very impressive in the second half, and the Greeks had more legit scoring chances by the end.

And Samaras is like a cross between Jesus and Rasputin.

If he does appeal, which he certainly should, there is no way he shouldn't win it. It would be absolutley pathetic of UEFA to not rescind that card.

Germany's Muller outdoes anything I've seen from any Greek player in terms of faking head injuries to beg cards, flopping with minimal contact and cynical fouls.
