Donovan, who is a commentator for Fox Sports 1 during Copa America Centenario, told SI Now's Maggie Gray that he and Klinsmann spoke for "a few hours" prior to the USA's quarterfinal against Ecuador and that they've cleared the air following the infamous 2014 World Cup roster snub.

"Jurgen and I actually had a really good meeting before the Ecuador game and sat for a few hours and talked about a lot of things," Donovan said. "I'll keep that private, but it was very good. I think we have come to a place where we both can move on from it. It wasn't an easy time probably for either of us, but we both realize that life goes on, and if we're both going to be involved in this sport, we should have a relationship, and so we are on good terms, and I expect it to remain that way."

That seals it, Jurgen is locked and loaded for 2018.

It only took five years, but it seems like Jurgen is finally starting to do things better. I am proud of his lineups for the Copa. I think we will keep the score line close even if Argentina dominates all facets.
