I have one thing, and one thing only, to say:

Your creative players are just as good defensively as your "stoppers"

It's true. Torres did as much defensively as Clark today. The three things I have repeated ad nauseum are still true today. Clark should never start or play major minutes. Cherundolo > Spector, and Bornstein is a bigger liability than Lindsay Lohan.

Let's all take a moment to laugh at this idiot goal.com writer.

quote:

Coming on as a second half sub was Jose Francisco Torres but the young midfielder barely even saw the ball and barely did enough to warrant mentioning. His defense seems to have improved though.

Not sure this guy watched the game.

I normally prefer Spector, but you can tell his shaky form for West Ham has gotten to his head.

I know he didn't have a lot of time but I can't believe Castillo couldn't make it over Bornstein.

I was most disappointed with Feilhaber. God he was bad.

I expected Clark to suck, but I was kind of hoping Benny would be productive. He didn't cover very much ground, and he was never a threat to score or find a pass.

Torres and Stuart Holden's creativity is what we need to score goals.. dempsey and donovan will do their things but that isn't enough
