It's so stupid. Concacaf is trying to be fair by having one country host but putting it in a place where the visiting team will have a majority of the fans.
If Mexico hosted there would be almost no US fans there. If it's in the US it should be somewhere the US can have a home field advantage.
It should be held somewhere in Europe if they wanted to be fair and neutral. Instead this is Concacaf's way of trying to make it a neutral site.

Brother it was 60-70% Mexicans in Atlanta. There is no where in the US we will out number them. They are just more numerous and vocal.

Why are people angry at CONCACAF? They should be angry at all the Americans who aren't buying tickets to support the USMNT. And the Gold Cup is meaningless. CONMEBOL should just invite the USMNT, Mexico and two other North American teams to play in COPA America every four years.

I honestly think this is fair. Before the new set up, we wouldn't even have the opportunity to go to the Confed Cup. The only reason some feel screwed is because we happened to win the earlier Gold Cup.
I don't remember when it was determined that the 2 champs would play each other, but I think Mexico might have felt screwed if it was right before the 2013 Gold Cup. They were going into a summer where they had to split time between the Gold and Confed Cup. They were behind the 8 ball with a shot to win the 2013 Gold Cup.
I'm disappointed it is at the Rose Bowl, but I don't feel screwed by it.
