They turned Vieira down. Gregg "blew them away".
Lol none of this is true.
They literally talked to Gregg 2 weeks ago after Viera turned them down and their options were Marsch, Cherundolo and some other MLS coaches.

What was it like to play for Newcastle?

I'm the one who gave DeAndre the idea for his failing clothing line.

You need to advise him cut his losses

I believe Stillitano's bonifides more than a message board warrior.

Funny coming from you.
Weren't you the guy claiming sources a couple of months ago?

Yep I told you my source then. Yes it was Wes' friend. Stillitano carries a whole lot more clout. You have divulged no source other than you.

I don't owe you that. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. Even if I did tell you my source, your mind was already made up on how this was handled regardless.

Look dude this tells almost entirely the gist of the story the Charlie Stillitano related. The only candidate not listed in one of these is Henry. They IQ tested, personality tested and decided Gregg was the one.

Maybe Balogun will prove to be to US Soccer what Joe Burrow was to Joe Alleva.

After they struck out elsewhere.

Who should I believe Stillitano or Broski. I'll take the guy who has connections all over the soccer/football world.

Why are you getting triggered? Is it because I'm not relenting to what you're saying?
I never said you have to believe me. I'm just saying I'm going to believe someone who is infinitely more connected to USSF than Stillitano.

Wouldn’t someone deeply connected to USSF be more inclined to put lipstick on the pig? To continue with the Alleva comp, I doubt he believed or told anyone that his process was a farce.

That’s exactly what they are doing publicly

There’s only one thing for them to do now. Hire El Chelis or Miguel Herrera again. That would be great comedy.
All the El Tri fans I know are furious with the FMF. It’s bad enough to be overmatched by the US, but now even Canada has surpassed them. That really hurts their pride. The gringos that barely invested in the sport until about 10 years ago are lapping them now.
That team is in dire straits. Their good generation of players has aged out, and they don’t have the youngsters to pick up the slack. MLS academies are developing and exporting players with much greater consistency than their Liga MX counterparts, and it’s playing out on the field now.
We all get frustrated with how the USSF is run, and rightly so to a great extent. It will seemingly always be a shell of what it could be with proper leadership and investment. The website even still sucks after all these years. But it’s still a much more stable organization than the FMF. They have way too many hands in the pie making decisions to the detriment of Mexican soccer. They just want to extract money for themselves and the Liga MX teams they own.

Even the youth situation is dire. Their U17 team is still solid but the U20s screwed the pooch and failed to qualify for the WC or the Olympics in 2024.
Until FMF completely disconnects itself from LigaMX I think that national team will continue to suffer.
