Really cool gesture by Jurgen here. How often do you see a manager who was recently fired from a big job doing something like this publicly. Never or hardly ever. Especially when the firing wasn't exactly a mutual parting of ways. It got a little ugly at the end. The vitriol and angst was definitely palpable from the US soccer community.

Crazy how Jurgen can cheer on a side he was fired from, while Donovan acted like a prissy 12-year-old girl when he lost his place.

A) That never happened

B) Are you that much of a baby back bitch to even have that have that correlation go through your mind?

It was justified.

His son is still in the US system. Klinsmann wants to be connected with USA soccer for the foreseeable future.

Maybe he can weasel his way back into a technical role. Or teach yogo at Camp Cupcake.

I must be jaded, because I view that second tweet as a backhanded way of making an excuse for the teams performance at the end under him.

I liked the tweets too but Klinsmann won a Wold Cup and European Championship for arguably the greatest footballing nation ever. His legacy is cemented and him coaching us is a footnote really.

Donovan said himself he rooted against the USA when he got the boot. It didn't last long and he came to his senses, but it was for a couple games he didn't want to see is succeed.

No it wasn't. It was for like a day, then he came to his senses.
