Apparently this guy is a box to box midfielder. I guess we need more depth there since barry is getting up there in age and we look lost when Yaya isn't playing.

Fernandinho is 28. He's not that young either

I agree, but that's still 4 years younger than Barry.

I don't understand spending an exorbitant amount of money (30 million?) on a player that has spent their entire career in Ukraine.

50% of the time yaya looks lost when he's playing.

for those curious, here is a great bit of info on fernandinho.

good quote from the end of the article:

quote:

Whether it’s driving through the heart of a defense, calmly maintaining possession and building the attack from deep positions, patrolling the midfield or threading perfect through-balls into the box, Fernandinho can do it all. While his performances against Chelsea shouldn’t necessarily be taken as his baseline, nothing he displayed in this match was out of character. It’s Fernandinho on his A-game, yes, but functionally and stylistically, it’s typical Fernandinho: a subtle blend of technique, vision, and underrated athleticism.

In short, Fernandinho is the textbook central midfielder.

I think the whole city team was disinterested for large parts of the season, so I don't blame Yaya so much.

We got our winger
We got our central mid

I think City just may sign 2 more big names at the most
striker and another creative mid

We need a backup gk and another central defender

As far as creative guys, that's got to be isco, right? Also we're rumored with pepe but I don't know how i feel about that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't there be a "to" in there somewhere?
