Just need to take care of business tomorrow. We need 23 out of a possible 33 points for a guaranteed title.

I was going to bail on golf with my dad, so I could watch Chelsea tomorrow. Told him if the Burnley result stood, I'd go. Guess I'm golfing in the morning.

This is ugly. Hopefully, Jose can rally the boys in the 2nd half.

How they hell Chelsea didn't get one to go in the past 20-30 mins is beyond me. I swear they had 5+ good scoring chances.

No idea. We just kept hitting them right at players instead of the open space.

Forster also was an absolute boss in goal in the second half.

We've had three pretty poor matches in a row now. Thank you for melting down yesterday Man. City:

@ChelseaActivity: 16 goals in the last 12 games. Almost as bad as Aston Villa (14 goals)… Yeah.

Yeah he was. He was excellent in both games against us.

The fact we are probably gonna win the league is pretty damning on the state of the PL.
We need to not play Oscar again and get what we can for him in the summer. I feel like his value has to go down with every performance.

I saw him once all game, and that was his near goal right at the end.

Where do you think PL ranks in the world's leagues currently?

In terms of actual play I'd say its somewhere 3-5, likely #4. I'd put it La Liga, BL, Serie A, BPL, then Ligue 1.

La Liga 1st and the other leagues are all meh right now. The PL probably is still 2nd or 3rd at worst but compared to where it was 5-6 years ago it's not even close.

Anybody know the record for most points dropped from winning positions? I feel like we have to have broken it already.

FWIW I think we played well in the second half. We needed to step up and despite not finding a goal I thought we did. Southampton is pretty damn good. As for Oscar, he has never been consistent in my book. He has moments that are high profile. If he had scored today, all would have been forgiven. The reality is, he is okay. Okay gets outplayed by quality and effort. He was outplayed. Now on to the next match. If we play like the second half on the run in, the title is ours.

Does anyone ever come back from loan and make a real impact at Chelsea? I have high hopes for him to take over for but it needs to happen in the next couple of years.
Not sure where he fits though unless we got rid of Oscar and moved Fab more forward and he could play beside Matic maybe?

Well the big loanee is Courtois he's definitely having an impact. Other than him though its hard to think of another. (Not counting Matic and his buyback.)
That pass is amazing and I hope Chalobah can get a good shot at making our squad next year.
