still haven't forgiven Bruce for 2006.... played to level of whoever we faced, which meant we were out pretty quickly.

Bob didn't coach 2006 WC and Mikey was not on the 2006 WC squad. I'm very confused to what you are alluding to.

Hiring Bruce is just a move backward. However, I'm not sure any coach can produce a world class team until there is some realization that the technical skills of the players needs to improve. Way too many lost balls, bad passes, poor decisions, etc. Our style of play (maybe best for the skills available) won't produce consistent winning against the quality European & SA teams. If you watch some of the U-17 World Cup, you'll see where we'll be in 5 years - barely competitive.

Those guys will only be 21-22 in 5 years.
