While stats never tell the entire story in football, this is a pretty good list. I'd have Hazard-Sanchez as one-two. I think Terry, the count, has to get credit for his defensive work this year.
I think the top five is pretty accurate.

Yea, no real surprises.
Pretty hard to argue.

Most seem about right. Although is it just me or did anyone else get the gut instinct that Silva hasn't been his usual self so far this season? Perhaps we're just so used to him being absolutely world class, but I had the assumption he's gone from that level to just a "very good" level. I guess that could still land him in the top 10 - such is the extent of excellence he usually displayed in previous seasons.

This is from 3/9/15, but still a cool comparison.
This is from an article from today.
Not trying to toot my Arsenal horn, but this thread is about statistics after all.

Silva is great. Simply, he is slow (and is getting slower).

Been following Coq for awhile on his loan spells. I'm a huge fan. Kid could turn into something special.

Oh he's incredible. I don't want to be misinterpreted. Just felt like he's had a much smaller impact this season than in previous seasons.

I'm sure his statistics are actually pretty bad. But intangibly, yes he's a brilliant player.

Yep. Coquelin is better than Matic. Really wish we had him anchoring our midfield instead.

Well since Coquelin has anchored Arsenal's midfield, almost half a season now, Arsenal have been better than Chelsea. That, combined with said statistics...well I'm not really sure why you're laughing. Even though that wasn't the point of the statistics post at all

Clearly Harry Kane deserves to be in there by year's end.

I think you're jumping to conclusions. Considering the vast difference in number of appearances no one should look at that and come away that Coq is better than Matic. He was simply posting it to show how much promise Coq has in comparison to the best DM in the league. If anything its a nod to Matic's brilliance that one of the most in form players in the league is being compared to him as the benchmark of excellence.

He undoubtedly will be. He's proven this isn't a one off thing, barring some complete and unheard of meltdown in form. Harry is here to stay, unfortunately for the rest of the league.

There are no defenders or goalkeepers included by way of this statistical analysis. If United happen to qualify for top 4, it will have come off the back of some huge performances from our GK. I would argue that David De Gea should be in the top 10 performers of this season.

You're kidding right? He's scored a career high in the PL (11) this season so far and has also added three assists. He's probably been City's best player this year in the league.
If anyone from City has sucked a dick this year it's Toure.

Whenever all of that came out I honestly thought it was a joke or an Onion article.
