This is going to be my first summer transfer window where I'm truly into the sport and actually know a little about a lot the players moving around. Pretty pumped because it seems like American sports FA on steroids.

I love the post World Cup transfer insanity that teams go through. Barcelona may just make it even more insane.

You'll quickly find out how terrible it is.

The best transfer period that only happens once every 4 years.

It's basically just a chance for the media to go crazy and link every top player with every top club. I was excited about my first transfer window too, now I don't even pay any attention to it.

it can be exciting, especially if you are a team that's building and needs quality players..

Not so much when your best player, with a long term contract, decides he wants to leave...

Rest assured some obscure South American players will be bought for absurd amounts of money. Jackson Martinez is one that is almost guaranteed to command a transfer this summer, and with a good world cup (and being a Porto third party player) he could go for a ridiculous sum.

Fred has been around the block already

He just has that 2000s Brazilian striker quality of falling off the face of planet only to randomly reappear later
