Who you got? Both Haaland and Messi have major cup titles this year. WC is obviously loads more important and Messi scored in the final. Haaland was scoring roughly 1 goal per 90 though and finished with 52. Mbappe finished with only a league title but has the WC golden boot. I'm thinking Messi gets it as a last hurrah since he will probably not be in contention for it anymore.

Haaland had a shot had he scored in the final and semis.

Messi winning it over Haaland would be almost as silly as that time Iniesta won it over Messi. He's not even close to the best player on his own team.

Haaland should win it easily but the Balon D'Or has been a sham since Milito didn't get a shout for it in 09-10 and Ribery was robbed in 13.

Haaland won the Champions League golden boot, Premier League golden boot, Broke the single season record with 36 goals in 35 games. I'm a United fan but Haaland should win it going away tbh. 52 goals in 53 games this season

This also may be the last time a French team may get a winner since Mbappe will probably leave PSG in the near future. It being a French award they'll probably want to get it in.
