I thought we were past having to use Euro gimmicks to make the MLS work. This is so amateurish. DC United, Real Salt Lake, Sporting KC, hell even the Dynamo; all of these are bad names because they took them from somewhere else. I really applauded the fact that Orlando went with SC instead of FC (ignoring the City part), although, I don't mind the FC thing.

I don't mind those three because they're all at least original to the league. We already have a United and now two more will be joining in 2017. At least come up with something a little more original.
I agree with OCSC, I love that they did that. I've always hated FC teams in MLS, 'soccer' is the freaking name of the league

SKC is actually using the name correctly. They didn't just pick it out of the blue.

I don't mind ______ City or FC ____ or even Sporting _______, but "United" implies there were two clubs that merged, so it sounds really dumb for an expansion team.

I'm not defending DC United, but apparently they were named "United" to try to combine supporters from DC, Virginia, and Maryland.

real salt lake does sound cheesy, But DC United and Sporting KC, FC Dallas are just fine. Proper club names that sound alot better than LA Galaxy or NY Redbulls that shite is terrible.
Hell Seattle's actual name is Seattle Sounders FC
