I agree with all of this. I'm a big fan of Walcott up top. We destroyed Manchester United when he played there. The game was over after 27 minutes.

I really don't want to come off as an a-hole here, but we keep going to the ManU well with Walcott. Every time he has a bad game, which was virtually every appearance in the spring, we would reference one good game at home against a 5th place team that would eventually fire their coach. I don't want to get rid of him, but I think we rely on this one game way too much to give us hope.

I will say, as someone mentioned on the last page, the Leicester game is another good game for him.

Walcott is certainly capable of great play. But he's inconsistent and injury prone. Until he does it again for several games I don't trust him and we need to buy someone.

The whole second half of the season was him trying to take on two defenders and just getting dispossessed really easily

What y'all think about Rob Holding? If the 2 mil reported is true, could be a good one for the future.

Well when people talk about his bad spring, which was the worst period of his career, it's still true that he was a superb right winger for us for quite a while before his injury. I'm not ready to give up on him when he can still give us good games. The key is confidence. Wenger has played through periods of poor form for numerous players. I don't see why he would stop with Walcott.

Apparently we are meeting with Icardi's agent today, who is also his wife, in London.

I think it's a ploy for a raise at Inter, but if not I'd take him, no question.

This rumor is heating up. I would love Icardi. With him and Giroud our strike force would go from a weakness to a strength.

Yea imagine all the goals with the chances we create.

I really don't understand why we don't go after Lukaku at this point. He's not very dynamic but he can score goals, and that is what we need. Icardi is a pretty brilliant player especially with his movement but god damn I feel like we are going to strike out again.

I really don't understand why we don't go after someone with a beating heart. We have as much money to spend as any team in Europe right now.

We don't b/c Wenger has become distant and naive when it comes to winning titles. His 1990 approach of patching a team together doesn't translate to todays game of winning titles.

Looks like another disappointing summer. An expected result, but still disappointing.

It has become where it's no longer comical. It's downright pitiful.

I don't understand how we can have a budget that dwarfs most others in the prem but still spend like a midtable team at times.

I understand not spending just because everyone else is but we have some glaring quality depth issues at center half and striker. the lack of moves is pretty disheartening to be honest.

I don't get it because it seemed like we finally we're going to do something. I think Xhaka is going to be great for us. Nothing since then. Vardy could have been hit or miss but at least was a swing for the fences

I liked not getting Vardy. I don't think he was a good fit. Now all the other misses so far….
