Ox was amazing playing centrally today.
AMN did a lot better being a DM rather than RB.
I thought Jeff did very well first half, and I think he'll be the next big academy breakthrough sooner or later.
Can't say enough good things about Welbeck and Walcott today. They did superbly and I hope they feature against Chelsea.
My one knock would be Perez not getting enough of the ball. There were several times he was wide open and was never passed to. He had some sublime passes and assists when he got the ball though. Wish he'd play more.
Overall a great performance today from the boys, I just hope we can keep this form up

The Ox today... May have been the best I've ever seen him play
He was really good.
The Jeff might be one of the smoothest dribblers I've seen in a while.

Ox has developed a good ball over the top. He's created a few goals and some good chances with it. Every time I began to give up on him he puts in a top performance. If he adds some consistency he will be a very dangerous player.

Ox was fantastic centrally. Just fantastic.
I love an attack with Welbeck and Walcott.
Fun match to watch.

We need to be concerned with beating Watford on Tuesday. That being said this was the best collective effort since we beat Chelsea. Great performance all around.

I think what's even more amazing about the performance today is that Hector, Mustafi & Walcott are the only ones that start consistently. Really shows what kind of depth we have this year

I think yesterday showed that we are much more fluid and dangerous with a mobile ST. Sanchez or Welbeck are both good options. Giroud scores goals. There is no debating that but we seem to lose our dynamism with him up front. Giroud is still important as a super sub and occasional starter(against lower teams who bunker in). With Chelsea coming up it will be interesting to see who starts. I think Alexis and Theo start for sure. Who joins them?

You know, I was thinking the same thing. How much more fluid they looked without Giroud and without Ramsey. Some of the passes the ox made, Ramsey wouldn't even attempt. With Giroud, they still try to play through the middle too much and it becomes easy for the defense.

Agreed. We look way better with a mobile striker. It opens up space for our wingers.

I think we will start
Cech
Bellerin-Mustafi-Kosc-Monreal
Coq-Ramsey
Theo-Ozil-Iwobi
Alexis
Vs Chelsea
Welbeck and Giroud on in second half for Walcott and Iwobi if we need a goal. Welbeck probably comes on either way.
Wouldn't be shocked if Welbeck starts but with Coq-Ramsey I think we will need Iwobi and Ozil's passing over Danny's pace and power to start.

I think you're right, but I would put Perez over Iwobi if I could pick the lineup. Have Giroud/Ox/Welbz as the subs if needed.
I just hope that if we win the next two games, some "fans" don't get over their heads and think that it's all Bould. Wenger still makes the lineups and subs.

Haha too late. Everyone is saying it was because of Bould yesterday that we actually made a sub before the 70'.

Apparently Elneny got injured, and will miss the Morocco match today. Who knows how serious it is

Some of our attacking stats this year are superb
Walcott: 21 appearances (19 starts), 14 goals, 2 assists
Alexis: 31 appearances (29 starts), 17 goals, 12 assists
Ozil: 24 app. (23 starts), 9 goals, 7 assists
Lucas: 15 app. (8 starts), 6 goals, 5 assists (1 goal or assist every 67 minutes)
Giroud: 21 app. (8 starts), 10 goals, 4 assists (Goal or assist every 65 minutes)
Ox: 28 app. (14 starts), 6 goals, 7 assists
81 goals this season in 33 matches vs. 91 all of last season (54 matches)
Four players with hat tricks (Ozil, Walcott, Lucas, Alexis)

It's going to be really weird watching Arsenal play in a 5,000 seat stadium on artificial turf when they play at Sutton United in a few weeks.

I imagine he will sit a LOT of people for that one.

Yup perfect chance to give game time to the backups and youngsters.

If for no other reason other than the fact that y'all will be playing on an artificial surface. I don't know much about PT, but I just assume that's a situation that increases the likihood of injury.
