I'm honestly okay with it now.
I think we all predicted this would happen. They delay the announcement until a sunnier time, and now it is upon us. Yeah, we came up short of top 4, but they played much better down the stretch and won a trophy. Now we have a glimmer of hope. I think this sums it up
quote:
Gooners: "You know what, man? Why am I still talking to you?"
Arsenal: "Come on, we were just doing good there, man. I'm taking care of your house good."
Gooners: "I-- I keep snapping back into it. It's like a trick you're pulling on me."
Arsenal: "Alright, I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Gooners: "Alright, man, talk to you tomorrow."

Inspired effort.
If I had my druthers, this would be a fine send off for Arsene. It's time for him to go.
Arsene and his system are like Les Miles and his offense--does just enough to keep his apologists defending him, pays lip service to change, and then stubbornly and arrogantly does the same thing.
Like Miles, it's time that stubbornness costs him his job--involuntarily, if necessary.

Ramsey played well the past few games, still a disappointing season. It started coinciding with xhakas brilliant play. They needed to feel each other out.
But, this should actually piss every Arsenal fan off. You see what the squad is capable of, yet they piss season after season away. That's on Wenger.

Wilbeck should have started all year
He's too nice. He needs a ruthless streak to him. No need to be a count like Costa. Just want to see him be more physical. Want to see his brain not malfunction at times, like when he fell over in the box because he couldn't figure out what to do.
I cheered and yelled and it was a great game, but all it does is mask the problem until next season comes crumbling down again.

He has been top notch, got under Costas skin a bit.
What a wonderful signing. There are good players in England that you don't have to break the bank for.

When he faced up Costa I lost it. I was so pumped. Kid has no fear.

Also if you have Snapchat go check out Iwobi's account. Lots of behind the scenes celebrations.
I follow him, Akpom, AFTV, Arsenal, and a few others.
do you know any of the other players' usernames?

For his passing ability, he's been amazing. He's such a good passer for a CB. At this point he's super incisive. He sees a pass and plays it. I hope he doesn't have a sophomore slump because he's been utterly amazing.

Wenger and Arsenal agree to a new two year deal per Jeremy Wilson.

Orstein confirming the 2 year deal.
Knew it was coming but it still feels like a punch to the gut.

Wenger verbally agreed new 2yr contract with Kroenke at yesterday's meeting. Will be rubber-stamped by board today & announced tomorrow #AFC

Will we get a Director of Football though?

I'm just going to hope and pray we buy enough this summer to offset whatever tactical mistakes we will inevitably make. The 3-4-2-1 gives us the defensive stability we lacked much of the season by its very nature but teams will adjust and we will inevitably have injuries to some key guys who make it work.

Seems that could be something they agreed upon.
I love Wenger and what he's done for this club. But he has to be willing to make changes before it's too late.
We have several players that he has to let go that are just wasting on the books. Is he prepared to do that?
The back 3 suits the defenders we have. But we need a cm outside of xhaka that can create and pass the ball. Will Santi ever be rt again? There is some work to be done and all the bs surrounding Wenger just for him to sign an extension was unnecessary.

Mahrez wants out of Leicester. He released a public statement. Might be a match there.

I would love adding him. The only thing is we need a true striker more. If Sanchez were to leave then it's a definite yes. We would have to move to a 4 at the back to fit him in if Sanchez and Ozil stay.

Got a feeling Walcott is going this summer. 19 goals and couldn't see the field in May.
