Halftime thoughts:

- Welbeck is such a handful. If only he'd add more goals. But he's been a pest for Chelsea so far.

- Xhaka is controlling the game.

- Per looks sharp. Knock on wood.

- Monreal is such a good defender.

- fricking love you Rob Holding.

- Ox looks uncomfortable on the left but his athleticism is offsetting some of that.

- Ospina gets a knock every. single. time. he plays.

I'm convinced Arsene is talking about the need to keep this team together as if it's not going to be his job.

Xhaka was unbelievable. Something like 70 passes completed and constantly made the right decision. Very pleased with his game today.

Since the change in formation Xhaka has been immense. He dictates play so very well. His long balls are terrific. He's also became better defensively. Not as much rash challenges lately.

I don't think I could love Per more than I do right now. He was fricking stellar today.

Also if you have Snapchat go check out Iwobi's account. Lots of behind the scenes celebrations.

The back three benefit Xhaka and Ramsey a lot. They look like a possible set partnership going into next season

They played so freaking much better at the end. They were actually a joy to watch. Time to spend some money because both Manchester teams have their check books out.

Anyone think this was Wenger's last game?

Just wishful thinking. It is only his last game if he wants it to be.

Nah. I think he will be back.

I'm honestly okay with it now. I've just accepted it. And I'm still stupidly optimistic he will win the league once more before he goes out even though all evidence points to the contrary.
