We need a new owner, manager, left wing, striker, cb and possibly a back up keeper.

A clearly unsettled Arsene Wenger spoke to the media after today’s 3-1 win over Everton, and admitted that his own situation had an influence on the players and performances this season.

Well no shite, maybe don't be an arrogant stubborn old man.

he apparently didn't even walk around the stadium with the players to thank the fans for turning up this season
Stupidly arrogant.

Edit: I'm not completely bashing the guy, he might've just had something going on, but it's pretty disrespectful to the fans. Especially the ones that've stayed on his side through everything he's put us through this season

I can't wait till Arsene leaves so I can actually love him again. To see how he treats the fans is painful. Please just stop Arsene.

We'll probably run a back 3 of Mustafi, Holding, and Monreal in the final. It could be a lot worse tbh

It was probably smart he didn't. Would've been getting booed, and it would've taken away from the players (not that they all deserve huge praise). I actually thought it was sort of smart. He was going to get criticized either way. Also would've been very awkward to go applaud the fans holding a banner up telling him to get lost.

Well the guys played their asses off down a player most of the game and still winning 3-1 is huge improvement. Just too little too late.

If we won the FA Cup does that get us into the champion league or is it too small to count? I only ask since Manchester United is the league from winning some cup

Winning FA Cup doesn't get us in CL.

Biggest key this offseason is re-signing Alexis and Ozil. Both are vital and the types of players you need to win the league.

Next is to sign a CM to play next to Xhaka. Ramsey showed late in the season his class but we need someone to compete with him who will be healthy and offer something different.

A creative wing or goal scoring striker also needed.

Not sure we stick with 3 man backline but it certainly was beneficial. Guess much depends on Wenger's future.

Also, winning the league while playing Europa will be difficult. Has any club in the Prem done it recently? I hope we rotate well enough to keep people fresh but those Thursday games will prove difficult.

Naby Keita next to Xhaka would be very nice.

I've been a huge Keita fan since Ted Knutson wrote about him last April. He's the real deal. LINK /

Keita somewhat reminds me of Modric. Verratti is my dream signing to replace Santi but he's gonna go for a huge fee if he is sold.

Yea I've developed a huge crush on him this season. Perfect fit it would seem. We need to go after him quickly. Other clubs will be interested.

Some worrying stats.

First, let in the most or 2nd most goals in the Wenger era.

Gave up 10 penalties, most in Arsenal history.

Chech made 114 saves, 4th highest in the league, guys ahead of him like Pickford were on the worst teams.

Alexis dispossessed 128 times, 2nd highest in the league, bellerin was 2nd on the team with 42.

Nacho Monreal made the most tackles on the team. That's just not going to cut it.

This team needs a defensive identity.

The back 3 seemed to help defensively some. Gives Ramsey license to get forward. Keeps an extra body back.

I just don't know where to go from here. Rumors of Bayern eyeing $65 million for Alexis. As productive as he is, given his penchant for giving the ball away and the type of talent we could buy with that money I'd be tempted.

Would love to get M'Bappe and Keita but truth is we need to be buying these players before they blow up. Knutson was on Keita last year. We could've gotten him with a relatively low bid and solved a massive problem. And of course Arsene has waxed on his prior interest in M'Bappe.

An FA Cuo title would be a nice way to end an otherwise dismal season. This might be a rough summer too.

Keita we have a legitimate chance to get. Mbappe is way out of our league. Nothing we can do about that.

As for Alexis that's a ton of money for a 29 year old with 1 year left on his contract. I wish we could keep him but he wants out. We should take the money and buy guys in their early 20s with high potential but still good enough to compete right away. Similar to Spurs, Monaco, and Dortmund. That's the easier route than convincing a big time player to come without ucl.

If Bayern (or anyone, really) come in with more than £50M I say we take it in a heartbeat.
Alexis has (approximately) 3-4 more years until he declines. With just one year left on his deal that's an offer we shouldn't turn down.

As far as new recruitment goes, what do y'all know about Lucas Moura? He's a very UTR guy but he's been great for PSG this season.
Pacy attacker and still young who I think we could mold into a top striker
