I watched that like five times just now. Thanks,
Also, glad Ramsey walked away from this one.
Yeah, totally not a foul
Would have been really disappointing to lose points because of that call not being made and then the questionable pk right after. But frick the haters, we got 3 points. I hope this translates to some momentum going forward and and a string of positive results.

frick this is a fascinating title race. This was a huge win by itself, but especially huge considering how easy Leicester's schedule is from here on out. They're out of every single cup competition, which means they only have 12 games left all season, and they've already played Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City, and Liverpool. Plus they don't play Chelsea until the last week of the season when Chelseas only motivation at that point would be to play spoiler to help Arsenal/Tottenham/City. So not much motivation. Leicester is at 53 points right now, I think there's a pretty good chance they get 27 out 36 to reach 80.
Tottenham is tied with us at 51 points and in great form, but they're still in Europa League and the FA cup as well, plus they have a fairly tough schedule left including a game against Arsenal.
Man City would have to get at least 33 out of 36 points to have a shot I think, certainly possible but not very probable. Hopefully they're mathematically out by the time we play them in the penultimate game, be nice to have them with nothing to play for.
Conclusion: I think Leicester at 80 points is the mark to reach, which means getting 29 points out of the final 12 games and increasing our goal differential. Arsenal's next three epl games are at Man U, home for Swansea, and at Tottenham. Come out of that with 6-7 points with a result at Spurs and I think we have the inside track to the league if Leicester stumbles. When you factor in the game against West Brom(obviously need a W) and the round of 16 FA cup/CL ties, after our next 7 games we can either be in for a serious treble run or basically looking to coast to another top four finish.

Rewatching the game. I am super happy that they took Mahrez off. It basically allowed to make the subs we did and throw everything forward.

It allowed Monreal a lot more freedom to get forward.

Yeah a lot to play for. I still think Arsenal need to go undefeated the rest of the way. Just don't see Leceister dropping too many points.

I absolutely loathe Mike Dean.

on Laurent Koscielny…
Koscielny is doing well. He has a test this morning and he looks positive.
on Gabriel…
He is running outside. He is out for Saturday.
on rotating the squad…
I will, as always, play a team who has a good chance to qualify. The normal squad is involved on Saturday. It is a normal squad and we’ll play a usual strong team.
on if Elneny could play…
Elneny is fit. He is one of the players who could get a run [out] there. He’s mobile, he’s a very good player. He’s adapting at the moment and I think he’s there now. We’ll certainly see him against Hull. He has a chance to start.
Looks like we will finally get an Elneny sighting.

Good. I just don't want to see Flamini.

Elneny is looking great so far. I really hope he can displace Flamini for the remainder of the season.

I'm okay with that half. The kids and new guys are playing well. I hope Ospina doesn't make a mistake, but I think we knock one in to make it a 1-nil result.
I'll be happy with that.

Should have had a pen from the hand ball. Thanks Mike Dean. El Neny had a strong half. He is very active and likes to be on the ball. Theo looked sharp also. Hopefully his bad run of form is truly behind him. Somebody needs to tell Flamini to stop bombing forward.

Wow this ref must really hate Arsenal. That wasn't even a difficult call.

Dean missed another penalty. You can't convince me that he isn't purposely screwing us.

What a bunch of bullshite, my DVR didn't record the game. Last night I had checked to make sure it was set. Wake up this morning and nope.

Awesome, a replay at Hull between Barca and the NLD.
Posted on 2/20/16 at 8:37 am to dgnx6
Another game where the gk played out of his mind...games like this are extremely frustrating

Terrible result. We don't need a replay our fixture list is already full. Sure we made a bunch of changes but so did Hull. Ox either gives the ball away or blows chances. Sanchez is still coming back and isn't at his best yet.

Well shite. I hate that we used Alexis and still have a replay. Their keeper played out of his mind.
And the second-guess, since of course I should be a PL manager: I would have left Welbz in. He was playing with a lot of strength and pace.
In this case, we may have rushed to bring on the first team. I think if we had kept the guys who started they'd have punched it in. Bring in Sanchez and Giroud around the 80th minute if it's still scoreless.
