don't want to sell them, because they are English and we will have to fill their roster spots with homegrown talents to make sure we meet the quota.

I know Arsene has stated they have put to much into ox to give up on him, but you can sell Walcott and sign some young defender or something. His out put doesn't match his wages imo.

At the moment. At the beginning of the season he was the reason Ozil had so much space to pick passes. Our season took a hit when he, Ox, Cazorla, and Coquelin went out in the same time period.

Alexis now wears No. 7.

Will be interested to see who gets No. 9, if anyone. Would guess Xhaka will be 8, though I've heard he's talked to Coquelin about giving up No. 34.

ETA: Cech is No. 1, Coquelin No. 8, Alexis 7, Xhaka 34 (it's tatooed on his back and he and Coq agreed to switch numbers)

That would have been a big cover up if coq hadn't agreed

ESPN got me all worried for a second that Alexis got hurt again. Then, I realized ESPN FC is just a shitty website and there was a typo.

Supposed to say Suarez after he was injured in the Copa del Rey. Sanchez is listed in the following line about his new number.

Has arsenal shown any interest in lukaku? Or vice versa?

God I wish. Dude can finish. I think we are going to aim at Morata first. I wish we'd go after Lukaku. He doesn't have the build up game that Morata does but god damn it'd be nice to have a big striker who doesn't fall over a lot (looking at you Giroud).

Love Xhaka. Fits next to a number of guys. Coq, Santi, Elneny, Ramsey, and Jack all fit next to him.

Knock on wood but we should be injury proof in central midfield. Ox can play there as well. Iwobi too.

Wonder if we would make a run at Mata. Could help centrally or on the wing.

Give me Lukaku and another player, either wing or CB and I'm happy.

Sounds like Kosc will be the new captain, too.

It's been a good start to the crazy season (I'm including St. Totteringham's Day this year)

I like Kos as the pick for Captain

Please, please bring in a top tier number 9. And yes I know it will be difficult and expensive because so few of them exist in the world but damn we could be something special next year.

Arsenal are interested in signing Napoli centre back Kalidou Koulibaly. He would cost around £20m. [@JWTelegraph]

It is widely expected that Morata's next move will be to the Premier League with Arsenal. [@partidodelas12] #afc

I find it weird how all soccer players want to slot in to the old numbering system. Numbers almost become someone's identity. I would want to stick with whatever number everyone recognizes me by. Also, I'd want a number that kids may choose because it is my number. If you see a kid wearing #10, he could be wearing it for any number of players. Let's use Iwobi as an example. If he becomes an Arsenal legend and holds onto 45, that number would become iconic. Kids all over London would start wearing that number.

Yeah my Ramsey 16 shirt is now outdated.

I wonder if Arsene's ideal 11 right now is this

--------------------------Cech---------------------------
HB------Gabriel/New CB------Kosc-----Monreal
----------------Ramsey------Xhaka------------------
Wilshere--------------Ozil--------------Alexis
--------------------New striker-----------------------

Jack and Aaron could swap or Santi could move in.

That would be nice.

I think Morata is good but maybe we have to hope for improvement once he gets here to hope for 25+ goals?
