My ex (BPG knows her) cheated on me and then dumped me. She was obsessive though - she knew she made a mistake and wouldn't leave me alone. I just wanted it to be done, but she kept dragging it on even after she had "ended" it. One night she called my phone 100+ times back-to-back while it was charging, and it ended up dying. That's what I had to deal with for months. One night I walk outside and get in my car to leave and she's sitting right there in front of my house in her car. WTF. She followed me to a party and then punched me and then left.

You guys need to read No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover. Changed my whole approach to life. I realized I was being a version of nice that was dishonest to myself, and I wasn't getting what I wanted out of any my relationships. I'm in the process of changing, but I don't think of myself as a "nice" guy anymore, simply as someone who is trying to be as good a person as they can. For me part of being a good person is not wasting time with people's bullshite, i.e. women's.
