world cup? Or are we to expect the current starters, as old as they are, to be the ones leading the charge into Russia? Surely a youngster will be able to take beckerman's spot?
are there any promising "unders" that might possibly make the jump to the senior level? or are we basicaly screwed with an even slower bradley creating excellent opportunities for opposing teams?

Russia is winning in 2018.

The Beckerman and Jones replacements will likely be Danny Williams, Alfredo Morales and Perry Kitchen

I don't see Beckerman or Jones to be at the World Cup.
Possible replacements include Nagbe, Williams, Hyndman, Acosta, Morales, Kitchen, Zelalem etc.

Not this bullshite again. It would take some massive bullshite (on the level of South Korea in 2002) for Russia to make it deep in the tournament.

I guarantee you Russia goes deep.

Wow, you rebounded quick from the second-worst showing for any team at Euro.

Going deep doesn't mean finishing second in an easy group and losing the first knockout round.

Definitely a no on Beckerman, but I wouldn't be shocked if Jermaine is there.

Ever finished 3rd in a World Cup?

Nagbe has been playing as an 8 for Portland this year, with a 6 next to him in Diego Chara.
Zelalem may be ready for 2016, depending on what he does with Arsenal or on loan this year. There's word that Wenger wants to keep him with the senior team and play him like he did Iwobi last year, but Arsenal have also loaded up in central midfield with Xhaka and Elneny to go with Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, and Coquelin. But it's Arsenal, and there will be injuries.
I'd imagine Danny Williams is on the short list of 6s for us.
Cameron could, I guess, step into the midfield, but I wouldn't break up the central defensive pairing unless Miazga or Carter-Vickers is USMNT ready by then.
There's others like Kitchen, Will Trapp, Morales.
Still think Bradley is one of the two, though I'm not sure he should be. He was better, from what I saw, in the third place game, but I didn't watch that very closely.

It's been three straight tournaments that you haven't made the knockouts. Nothing I saw this tournament made me believe that suddenly Russia is going to go past the round of 16, given a very favorable draw.
The only hope is if Dzagoev has a fantastic tournament on the level of Arshavin 2008. Even then I don't think you could categorize the Russian squad among the top five in the world, certainly not capable of actually winning the tournament.

Bradley definitely should be there. His only disappointing games were the first one against Colombia and Argentina.

We didn't have Cheryshev either

The players weren't the problem. The organizational structure was. When the CB's are too afraid of making a ten yard pass into midfield, and instead insist on trying to play balls wild balls wide to poorly positioned fullbacks, is it any surprise that Russia couldn't create any chances, let alone keep the ball enough to have a breather? Not only that, it seems that as long as players play in Eastern Europe, they won't understand that the Western European game is much more advanced tactically. It's the same trouble the Brazilians are having. Unless they hire a fantastic coach (who else can they hire, though, as both Hiddink and Capello struggled to get anything out of the team), I don't see them moving forward.
