Predicting Stuttgart in CL? Damn, son they are on the same shite creek that HSV has been paddling down to the drop zone in the past few years.

I know you left them out because #Neverkusen, Hendo, but did Bayer do anything major this summer? Their breakneck offense was something else last season, and there's a chance United have to play them in the UCL playoffs.

I actually like their team but I'm just not goigng to get burned by Neverkusen again. Lost Gonzalo Castro to BVB which is a big deal but they got Christoph Kramer of World Cup concussion fame to replace him.

I like their attackers. Son, Çalhanoglu, Bellarabi, Kießling are all really good. I'm a big fan of Julian Brandt, one of the better young German midfielders out there. He's only 19 and he's already a really important player for them.

What? No. I hope they make a jump. A jump for them is being closer to 10th than the drop zone.

Okay, I just was just gonna say. Fair enough, but they are shite and are one bad form away from the drop. I love HSV, but they have been ridiculous of late playing in multiple relegation playoffs. Organizationally, HSV has probably the most incompetent FO in Germany....by far.

No what saves them is their kick arse academy development. That is what saves Schalke's arse.

Ok, I'm looking for a team to cheer on in the BL. Now that I can watch more games and invest a little time who do you guys recommend? I know it won't be Bayern, so who you else you got?

Gladbach and Wolfsburg are quite the spectacle to watch. Anywhoo....

If you are a sadist for punishment and disappointment, then pick Schalke or Bayer Leverkusen.

If you are a fairweather fan, pick Bayern Munchen or BVB.

If you are a piece of shite, pick Eintracht Frankfurt.

If you are a plastic, pick Hoffenheim.

If you are a German sports car aficionado, pick Stuttgart or Ingolstadt.

If you are cool and hip, pick Augsburg or Cologne or Mainz

If you are a contrarian a-hole, pick Darmstadt

If you smell like fish, pick Werder Bremen

If you are stupid to pick this team because your family is from there, pick Hertha, HSV, or Hannover

My favorite Bundesliga related thing is that Bhoy is a fan of St. Pauli.

People who have never been to Hamburg that are "diehard" fans of St. Pauli are just a bunch of flaming liberal hipsters because they are the anti-establishment team. A bunch of losers, really.
