It'll be interesting to see how Pep rotates the squad and gets enough games for Vidal, Thiago, Gotze, and the 90 other attacking midfielders in the team. It's quite a good problem to have.
Douglas Costa has already proven to be a good signing it seems. I'm still pretty surprised that he lasted that long at Shakhtar without making a move elsewhere.

DS's thread on DiMaria got me thinking of NFL comparisons to the B-liga teams...what do y'all think:
Bayern - Dallas Cowboys: hate this but they are FC Hollywood and have been a team in the mix for decades, and hated by just about everyone. Also, lost several Super Bowls (CL finals).
Dortmund - Pittsburgh Steelers: working class steel town, über-passionate fans and the colors match nicely. Steelers have more hardware but fanbase passion is similar.
Wolfsburg - Seattle Seahawks: Young, exciting team poised for greatness with solid lineup...also blue & lime green, which conveniently works well.
Leverkusen - San Francisco 49ers: Tons of talent but can't put it together the last few years.
Schalke - Buffalo Bills: Nuff said...
Still figuring out Saints comparison...to be determined soon.
