Remember Abou Diaby? Ex-Arsenal midfielder? Always injured? He's back...

The 29-year-old is set to return to action for Marseille after 17 months in the treatment room.

Injury-prone Diaby managed only two appearances in his final two seasons with the Gunners and was finally released in the summer.

His bad luck has continued in his native France after getting injured in training, but he is in line for a return in Marseille's French cup game against fourth Trelissac on Thursday.

Diaby vs Liverpool
I've never seen a player boss a game like this. Oh what could have been.

Is this the official hype thread? It doesn't say "official", and I want to make sure before I comment.

Thanks.

He has a goal and an assist

Marseille 2-0. Easily could have been closer if this amateur team was better at finishing.

We SO could have used a healthy Diaby this year.

Every team on the planet could use a healthy Diaby. He was that good.

Former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby's long-awaited comeback from injury has been put back again. The 29-year-old was due to play for Marseille in a cup game on Thursday but suffered a calf injury in training. His last competitive game was in September 2014

all I got from that highlight video is if his teammates would pick their eyes up, he could've had about 5 goals
