Amazing. Maybe it's not hitting me like it should because with Pulisic I've almost taken things like this for granted, because of his quality... but damn, could we have imagined this five years ago? Not just a goalie starting for a champions league team, no, we have a freaking 17 year old starting in an attacking position for one of the best teams in the Bundesliga in their first CL game. And to say that he looks like he belongs with the big boys is an understatement. Just incredible.

And he looks like he fricking belongs, too.

He has been one BVB's more dangerous players so far this match.

The best thing about Pulisic's case is that he is American born and raised. Not to go on some Abby Wambach-esque xenophobic rant, because I love our Germericans, Bacon, etc., but the fact that Pulisic is 100% American, was discovered by BVB in an American youth academy, and is now breaking into a top flight league, means that he is much more relatable to our American youth. And that can only mean good things for our future.

The kid is just so composed and fearless with the ball, can't wait to see him running at Rafa Marquez in November.

Pulisic plays the whole 90, gets an assist, and looks threatening the whole game. Could have had another assist or two if Aubamayang was more clinical this game. Encouraging that Dembele got taken out in the 76' and replaced by Mor. Both of those guys are new young signings (19 and 18) who are competing with Pulisic for play time.
