Today is the day of reckoning for Newcastle United. Not even going to Fado's in downtown ATX like I usually would. If I'm going to witness a relegation I'm going to do it in the comfort of my own home. It might also be the last time I can watch a Newcastle game on TV and not via an illegal stream for a long long time because I don't see us coming straight back up.

Yes, SCH, thats never been said before.
He could have been part of buying a trophy with Chelsea, but he decided against that. I personally think thats deserving of respect.

I have convinced myself that there is no way Hull City will beat Man U today, which means that NUFC can lose in their predictable manner and survive another year. This Newcastle team has had such a rollercoaster year, from firepardew.com to the mid-season unbeaten streak to Pardew leaving to Papiss Cisse's ban (and huge blow to to their ability to put the ball in the back of the net) to still being owned by a rich person that seems to "not get it" as to why he is unpopular with the supporters. However, if there's a will, there's a way, and that way includes Newcastle playing in the Championship.
It would be fitting if NUFC went down again. I don't feel as if they would be considered such a lock for promotion as with the last time around. I don't want them to be relegated. Damn.
