$215 million for Neymar or $183 million for Paul Pogba

If you were the manager for either of the teams going after these players, who would you sign?

Neither- gun to my head in that scenario though, give me Pogba

I think during the prime years of their careers, Pogba will be the more valuable player to have on your team.
Neymar is tiny and plays next to 2 or 3 of the best players that have ever lived. I'm not sure he can be the best player/leader for one of the really big clubs in Europe. And the diving and rolling around screaming really gets under my skin. Knowing how to bait a defender into a foul and taking it is one thing, but he takes it to another level sometimes. I understand some sporting cultures are different than others, but acting like a bitch is acting like a bitch in any language or context. It's crazy to me how players and fans don't come down harder on players that take it to the extent that some of them do.
As for Pogba - It has nothing to do with his Manchester exit because I don't even know the story behind what went down with all of that, but he seems like a bit of a diva. It looks like he plays hard when he wants to. Or only when he has to. He looked like shite the other day when he came on against Albania (I think) and it was obvious it was because of a lack of effort. He's still young though and professionalism can be an acquired skill. The guy is so incredibly gifted. From a physical and skill set standpoint, what he has looks very rare to me.

Neither. You can build an entire squad for that kind of money.

Also, Pogba is starting to look overrated to me. He has been very average for France.

Fixed it. I think he's a good player, but he's not even close to being worth the price tag.

There's only a couple of teams in the world that have the luxury of paying that much for a player... Neither are worth it, relative to other comparable players IMO...
If I had to choose, it would be Neymar...
I like Pogba and think he is very good, but Ive watched him plenty of times and have never seen him dominate a match... moments of brilliance, yes...

This is the first season he's had any kind of injury problems, probably from being rushed back too quickly by Blanc.

Tf are you talking about
This was by far his best season at Juve, he was consistently their best player with Dybala.

Even with Pogba showing deficiencies, I don´t think Verratti ought to be in the same conversation as Neymar and Pogba.

he struggled badly early trying to play a 10 and he just has not developed in that role
he's a B2B guy who thinks he's a 10 and sometimes it wastes games when he wants to be fancy
he's an amazing prospect. he's not at the "highest transfer ever" level for a prospect

I'd rather him, than Pogba..

Pogba needs to calm the frick down and be a Busquets 2.o

I don't know about that.
You ideally want Pogba to have a lot of freedom to run rampant around midfield winning balls everywhere like Nainggolan or Vidal and completely free to go on dribbling runs ala vintage Ya-Ya Toure and not protecting a backline and keeping the geometry precise. . .
Putting him in a more defensive position would negate way too much of what he does best (win balls, dribble multiple defenders, score/create goals in the box) and highlight his weaker points (positional discipline, picking out longer passes)
He's seemingly at his best when just allowed freedom to be a heat seeking missile after the ball and then the goal.

I meant, a solid ball winner, but who is top notch on the ball (Busquets is serviceable at best, but does roam and form).
