Sportbild claiming Chelsea have made a deal to purchase Rahman Baba for 25m Euro (~17m pounds).

Nice we've been missing a sweet Ghanaian ever since Essien left.

Over the next 3 years the young core Verratti, Lucas, Marquinhos and Pastore will only be improving from their already high levels. Cavani will be in his prime and now you're bringing in a guy like ADM who has done it at the later stages of the competition. Plus no more FFP restrictions so they can continue to bring in top level players. They have made huge strides in the last 3 years and will continue to make them. You're pretty ignorant if you don't think PSG have as good a shot at it as just about anyone else.

i'd prefer perma.
Why don't we say 1 year on the SB. Starting from the day PSG either wins or is eliminated in 17-18.

I'll back you in a 2 for 1 permaband with the Newcastle turned PSG fan. If one PT goes, we all go...

I am 100% serious. Neither of those guys you mentioned have produced at the highest levels the way ADM has.
Hole fricking shite
Rooney has done it year after year in the EPL and has scored 33 times in Europe ffs do you even know what your saying.

Obviously ADM didn't think he got a fair shake either.
but you said he wasn't given a chance when he clearly was.

We're talking about the Rooney of 2015 not the Rooney of 2010

I said he wasn't given enough of a chance.

They have a shot of course but to say it's "more likely than not" over three years is pretty bold. They have a good core no doubt but Cavani ain't getting you nowhere and they lack the match winning star power of Real and Barca.

This pissing contest over a player that disappears every other match is kind of pitiful.

Cavani really started coming on at the end of last season. He scored like 14 goals in his last 8 games or something silly like that. He struggled when they put him out wide to appease Ibra but that's a thing of the past.

That's the role ADM has to play. He has been that guy before when Real won it 2 years ago and he's young enough that over the next 3 years he can do it again. They didn't bring him in to win more French trophies.

I was gonna say ADM is a slightly more consistent version of Hulk. He will look like a world class player ready to explode for a match or two then be a non-factor for a month.

He turns up when the lights are on. If he disappears when they are on the road at Lorient that's fine.

Obviously I never see him play in the league but he really sucks pretty bad every time I watch him in Europe.

I get that, I just don't think he's ready to be that type of player on a consistent basis. Time will tell. At PSG he won't have Ronaldo and Bale to take the pressure off of him.

We really just need him to be on form in those later CL matches. That's the difference right now between PSG and Real/Barca/Bayern.

Plus you have to factor in Luiz, I love the guy, but he can lose you a match/tie in any given 15 min. stretch.

thats literally what you just said
do you even comprehend what you post.
Rooney was def produced at the level DiMaria has and for a longer time.

He definitely struggled with his finishing in europe particularly in the knockouts this past season. He had a point blank goal against Chelsea in the first leg that he blew badly that was particularly bad. He has the ability though.
