Strootman looks like he's headed to Roma.

another manU potential target goes elsewhere. meltdown continues with their fans, I'm sure.

does this mean de rossi is being sold? any news on that front, wm72? otherwise, that move might suck for baby Bradley

does this mean we should fire up the Agüero to RM rumors again?

possibly. though those seem like Balotelli and Tevez replacements more than anything.

I read an article that said Verona wanted Mikey and Roma was down to sell him. I'm not really too savvy on Serie A, so I have no clue as to the validity of that claim.

Telegraph says we are ready to offer £40m for Suarez. if true. this ought to escalate the entire situation with Suarez, 'Pool, Real, etc.

I really think you'll need to put down more than 40, being an English club and a direct competitor for that 4th spot. At least I would hope.

You think Liverpool is there? Sans Suárez?

No, probably not. But there's sure no way in hell we're there if we sell him to our direct competition for the spot.

Unless the buyout clause is matched and he demands to go. I'd love to have him, that is for sure.

It might be because SEC Media Days have been on my TV all day, but I'm feeling like doing THIS:

for sure, but 40m is the important number for negotiation, no? I think it's the first domino in a stagnant situation that needs conclusion for all parties involved.

Correct... No buyout, but 40 means we need to listen to offers,..

If Arsenal push our hand, I say deal him to RM for Higuain + cash... Screw Arsenal out of their top 2 striker options...

i'm not sure Higuain would agree to terms with you all bc of no CL.

he doesn't make a whole lot of sense for you guys either, in the sense that Sturridge would become what he was for Chelsea, a fringe guy whose opportunities would come more frequently out wide.

I agree, I think he is too one dimensional (though i think he's a great player) I'd much rather all cash, di maria + cash or coentrao + cash.

i just hate him for the fact that he took what should have been stewie taylor's place and also kept rami shabaan and the rapist graham stack on the bench.

holy shite. would have to be for a shite ton, if true. maybe Torres plus cash. that'd be a big blow unless we got Cesc back. would be really, really surprising if Arsene allowed him to leave.
