Currently the Dynamo are the closest team to me, and it's looking like I will be working in Htown soon, so.... I guess I'll have to learn Spanish.

I'll be a Portland fan this season, but don't expect me to be on here much.

With everyone mentioning "Since there is no team in NOLA,_____ is my team" and with Mardi Gras just passing, it got me thinking that this is what the NOLA FC jersey should look like if there was ever a team here.

Something like that, with Mardi Gras hoops, wouldn't be bad (as long as the team were named the Jesters or NOLA Rex or something similar). Remove the pocket, add a crest a little higher, work on the buttons, and we're done.

The rest of the league would at the colors, though.

After looking up the format for the season, what the hell is the point of having conferences? Am I missing something. You play every team twice. Why not just seed the top 10 teams and go from there?

This is the first season with a balanced schedule in forever, and it will be broken up again by next year when Montreal enters the league.

But yeah, they could have skipped conferences this season. Instead, Houston gets yo-yoed from West to East (and probably back again next year).

I believe Mr. CanFAN's signature for TFC is needed on this thread.

Can I officially declare as Switzerland? I can't make a decision, so I'll just enjoy it all.

You should support DC United:

Honestly this is my approach. I watch MLS for all of the past, present and future US internationals. For the most part, I'm invested in all of the teams equally.

I chose to actively root for the Whitecaps, because my wife and I honeymooned in Vancouver, and fell in love with the place.

Also, my wife thinks I look like Jay DeMerit, and she finds him (and me, I assume) pretty attractive. Which holds true, because I am in fact, quite striking.

I thought DeMerit was not a striking player ... ain't he a defender?
