That was a fight. I don't see anyone else in the country who can stay on the field with either of these teams.

We won't get another shot. And gotta agree with GMac when he said in an interview earlier in the week:
This is the great thing about college ball. You get your shot, win or lose, and it's what makes the game so great week to week.
Had our shot. Unless there's no undefeated teams, we're out. If others lose, then that's another story.

'Grats to LSU. Great game and I would prefer 9-6 than 56-48. I loved/hated watching this one, but LSU deserved a W because the capitalized on the few errors made when it counted. That's what this game came down to and LSU deserves credit for it.

This. Special teams are a huge part of the game. I knew LSU's were better but thought we'd still win. But LSU's defense was just as good as ours.

Bama's defense is unreal. That was by far our worst offensive game we've had this season - and it's credited to Bama's D. Great game, clearly the two best teams in the country. It came down to special teams.

Great game between two great teams. Hope Dre has a quick recovery from a really dumb play on Mathieu's part. Good luck the rest of the way as well.

I agree. That's how I felt going into the game, and it doesn't change just because we lost. I feel like LSU and Bama are #1 & #2 but that was our chance at a NC. LSU shouldn't have to beat us again, just as we shouldn't have to beat them again if we'd won.

hats off to bama, hell of a team
I picked lsu in my pickem but that was as much about rooting for my team and any conviction they would go to bama and beat a hell of a team
I'm generally against the idea of giving bama a rematch (if LSU and Bama were to win the rest of their games) but if it happened I would consider the rematch a something close to a coin flip
