I love when people do this.

Oh it's snowing in January, no way climate change is real.

Fallacy.

I don't know what's going on in this thread, but if I was a politician, I'd never laugh with colleagues in public.

But we're told that Weather and Climate are two different things. Are you saying this week they're not?

Global Warming as weaponized as a political tool is amazing. No set of circumstances or data can disprove it. Extreme weather of any type is said to support Global Warming. It's really quite amazing.

Nearly all the world's climate scientists are in agreement that rapid climate change is real. But screw empirical evidence and data, I get to play golf in January because it's 80 degrees!

You mean climate change? The same thing the Earth has gone through since it formed?

I really dont care either way if it's real or not. This Earth has survived long enough on its own.

We're not worried about the earth you mongoloid we're worried about our species. Quit being anti science and pay attention. The earth will survive.

Its not anti-science to not totally buy into the global warming arguement. I have a graduate degree in Biology. The fact is, there is a lot that science has not proven and does not know.

Incidentally, they are also in agreement that if their models are correct it is too late to reverse the effects now. So it sounds to me like their consensus is irrelevant. What will happen is now sealed. See ya on the new beach front property!

Was this before or after almost all of Al Gores global predictions proved false?

Look them up. There are a lot.

It's a way more nuanced issue that believing it's real or not real.

This is becoming the new "racism" where any level of divergence from what you are supposed to believe gets you labeled as some anti-science redneck.

My opinions:

Global Warming is real.
Humans have some affect.
No one knows how much affect.
No one knows whether those effects are positive or negative.
The issue has been used as a political (and revenue) tool with research falsified and exaggerated on both sides thus causing much distrust and nonbelief.
Our ability to make any significant changes that would help (if help is even needed) is minimal.
None of this matters because technology will advance us past a carbon-based energy economy within 50-75 years. Even the worst models don't show any catastrophic affects during that time period.

Weeeeeeellllll....I kinda like 70' temps in the middle of winter here in Virginny.

I guess I don't get it: all the tree huggers should join in and hasten the destruction of mankind. I mean, there's 7 billion people on earth...the toothpaste is already out of the tube. The earth will regenerate.

In the meantime, keep your Prius in the slow lane so my F350 doesn't make you into a grease stain on the interstate.

AGT is asinine way to measure "climate change" in any event.

An iceberg the size of Delaware is about to break off of Antarctica and all you dipshits can do is laugh. I'm literally shaking right now. Hope you choke on a cow's dick while driving your gas guzzlers
