You do not own black people. They are not your subjects. They can succeed without you.

I'm talking to you, libs.

Throughout history you have subjugated people who you think are inferior.

First it was "this group is inferior so we can own them. They will be our property." You put them in chains and killed many of those that broke those chains. After it was decided that you could no longer chain them physically, you proceeded to chain them mentally and financially. You said "this group is inferior and must be kept separate from us superior folk." Despite the oppression, black families were strong and proud. They tried their best anyway, and you then tweaked your mentality a bit to say "this group is inferior and must be cared for." You brought up entire generations on the premise that they must have your help to survive.

Then you broke up their families. You rendered fathers useless, while pushing the virtues of promiscuity and lack of self control. You replaced fathers with government programs, while continuing to tell the youth that they are not good enough to succeed in "the system" without your guidance and help. You robbed them of their most important educator and then replaced that teacher with your school system.

You then robbed them of their history. You erased the performance and achievements of black men and families during times of segregation. You erased their love of country and hope that they can achieve their dreams with hard work no matter what. You now have people who, in an organization that is 75% black, say that people like them cannot make it. Nevermind the fact that they developed a marketable skill and reaped the benefits thereof. Instead of teaching people HOW to get out of a shitty situation, you tell them that they CAN'T get out of said shitty situation. You give them the excuse of a "broken, unfair system" and lower expectations to the point that their world view narrows to crime and menial jobs. Most don't even know that success is possible, let alone how to achieve it.

Libs, you are protesting yourself and the shite show you created. You are not stewards of any group of people. Leave them the frick alone and allow them to heal and grow.

/rant. For now.

ETA: you are like Eddie's mom in IT. You raised a hypochondriac that can't functiin on his own without your precious protection. I can't wait for the day when the people you lord over say "frick you, get out of my life."

So your arguments are based on what the Democratic Party did before they realigned???

Hot take indeed.

How shitty is the democrat party when they have 13% of the population vote for them at 95% and another 18% of the population vote for them at 75% and they still can't win a national election?

That's embarrassingly bad.

Realigned what, exactly?

The mindset never changed. "That group is inferior" is the basic foundation of every program, issue, and platform of liberals/progressives. frick party. This is about how one views the world.

Also, no one is doing football players a favor by "letting them earn millions in the NFL." It's not an act of altruism. It's the value our market set for relatively rare abilities and fans' relationship to players is one of service provider-customer--not benefactor-beneficiary. It's no different from other professional sports the world over.

Good talk.

Yeah parties essentially switched but it got really messy just in general. Trying to link actions of political parties back then to either political party now is well, for the birds. Doesn't have any merit frankly.

Yes. It took dedication, preparation, and effort. The same skills required to achieve that kind of success in ANYTHING. It's not just sports.

The democrat party is so realigned that they support People who throw gays off rooftops, kill Christians and Jews, and treat women like 3rd class citizens.

Your party's next realignment will probably involve gulags.

Democrats strongly believe that black people cannt succeed without white people coming together and helping them.

How often does that translate into other fields for NFL players once they're done with their short lived careers of tossing around a football?

Ah yes the mythical realignment where they adopted Republican human rights stances with their exception for their desire to kill newborns.

What date was this? Can you link to the attentive roster of these party members?

You still type this bullshite? There are liberals in both major parties. Quit cheering for the fricking team. Look past parties. This is much bigger than party.

Or just the fact the OP is conflating liberal with being of a certain party.

There are times in history where Republicans were home for liberalism and times where the Democratic party has been.

Liberalism is a philosophy centered around liberty and equality. Philosophers like John Stuart Mills(an abolitionist, John Locke(who believed the only time slavery was permissible was after a war, like in Rome), and Thomas Paine(another abolitionist).

So I really worry about how decayed our school systems have become that someone managed to write all that and hit send and not realize how dumb they look.

The skills required to learn how to make it on a field are the same that are required to learn science, chemistry, math, business, or any other field. There is a reason why Jordan was unbelievable at basketball and sucked at baseball at first. He used the skills that taught him basketball to learn something else and became pretty good in a short amount of time. He could have done that with any endeavor he wanted.
