Would you support a Convention of States under Artile V of the Constitution? If so, what things would you want the convention of states to enact as law?

I also think the democrats and progressives would go bat shite crazy if something like this occurred.

Only if it was guaranteed that a runaway convention wouldn't occur.

35 years ago I made an oath to support and defend the constitution, against all enemies foreign and domestic...

Therfore, Yes I would support an Article V convention.

Sure, it sounds fun. We could have a convention hall with every state having a booth. They could showcase different foods and manufactured products from the state. I can see a craft brew bar for the state's local breweries to sample their draughts. I would go.

ETA: cosplay is a must

Its odd that so many are scared of doing this legitimate constitutional process, but don't care a whit when the Supreme Court changes the Constitution illegitimately.

How is that odd?

You don't see the difference?

ETA: and abolstuely not,I do not support a convention. Can you imagine the craptastic document that would come out of a convention of today's legislators? What a horrible idea

I think a convention of states is the only way we would get term limits on Congress. I don't see any of them enacting legislation which would stop their gravy train they enjoy on behalf of the country.

In theory. And then I take a look at a body like the Louisiana legislature or the Louisiana Republican Party governance.

Anyone who would supports this DRASTICALLY underestimates the stupidity/corruption/incompetence of our elected officials, both national and state. After the national convention produces a 1,000 page document that looks like the current LA constitution, we have to trust our state legislators to decide whether it's a good idea? No thanks

And art v convention is no longer a viable option.

Sure. If it gets term limits, let's roll.

For those scared of what else might come out of it, it'll probably be so difficult to get the legislatures to agree on just about anything that there won't be much to come out of it.

a convention of states is more likely to be hijacked by Soros and his ilk than not hijacked.
