Say Obama had a crack at a third term. The election is December 1st. How do you think he'd fare against:

Romney?
Rand Paul?
Christie?

As much as the knee jerk reaction might be to say Obama loses by 10 points, he mobilizes voters like few others. Even though the Democrats got thumped a few weeks ago, I think Obama would inexplicably pull out a razor close win.

Would get utterly destroyed by Rand. Romney would be close. Would utterly destroy Christie.

No, but I'd love to see a debate, and him defend all the lies...

He'd win in a walk.

His approval is in the 30's, and he would at least need a 50+ going in.

He would lose. He has lost many in the democratic base. "Keep your doctor" lie was his turning point, and everything else in his second term has been God awful also.

Dec.1? Too cold to expect the Dems to turn out in force. A warmer weather election would be too close to call.

Yeah, he would win right now. No one else has the name recognition that he does. If the race were held a couple of months from now to give time for the media to destroy his opponent, he would win easily.

I don't know if he could win in 2 weeks, but give him two years notice and I've no doubt the Obama machine can win every election. Thank God for term limits.

I think Romney and Christie would be close, assuming Christie could get beyond Bridgegate and related issues. A lot of Republicans will not vote for Rand under any circumstances.

I would hope the American people would look at all of the lies and reject him but I don't know.

He'd win. As our SNL brethren clearly pointed out, if It was proven Obama killed Biggie and Tupac, blacks would forgive him and still pull the lever for Obama

The harsh reality is the electoral college heavily favors the dims. They have a stranglehold on the largest states. It's like the dimocratix are getting a 70 yard head start in a 100 yard dash. Couple that with voters trending younger, less white, and more parasitic, things will only get worse for the GOP. GOP will lose in 2016.

He has sold out his base by not achieving Universal health care or real gun control. He has moved to far to the right by sucking up to Wall Street that he has pissed off a lot on the left. The right hates him and the center isn't thrilled.

Depends who the Republicans nominate. Paul is becoming less and less wacky, The right will not support Chrstie as he is too moderate.

Great question

No, one of the worst second terms in recent history. A total lame duck 1/4 of the way into it.
