You can say fandom is kind of pathetic. Owners and Players treat sports as a business. Fans treating sports as an emotional "belonging to something" even though we all know fans are not part of the team. Ever notice how money flows in one direction?

Regardless of that, she is still a small business owner, and thus the backbone of our economy.

She is an innocent victim in all of this.

Democrats champion boycotting businesses all the time when the business' stance on an issue doesn't align with their beliefs. They're more violent as well. So how exactly is this pathetic?

She is the kind of woman that makes America great - a small business woman in one of America's best cities . My father's city in fact. My family settled there in 1914. For my money, it has some of the best this country has to offer.

A couple thoughts . She put all her eggs in one basket . Bad strategy if a brand goes south . Second, the NFL gets a cut of every branded item in that store . So I would not buy anything from that store ever again either . Not because she's not a fine woman, but because I have decided to patronize brands that have not planted their flag on the Cultural Marxist ground that I believe is ruining the country . They get to say what they want, and then I get to have my opinion about it . Maybe she should have a clearance sale and sell more Penguins gear.

If you do embrace division and disharmony and divide into Identity Politics don't be surprised when people say ok and react accordingly. The message has been received. And now The NFL can live with the rejection of their brand . Pretty simple and non- controversial to me- they taunted their fan base and now they can live with the reaction.

Another one? Here you go:

Democrats don't just boycott, they use the power of the government to also sue the families that own these businesses of all of their accumulated wealth.

Like I said above, I do feel terrible for this woman, but at least no one is trying to destroy her personal wealth on top of it.

The "crazy righties" can be reasoned with. I bet if the NFL does the right thing (don't know what that is) and makes amends, people will go back and folks like this woman will be fine.

because dumbarse people are yelling at an innocent girl about something she has no control over. Why don't they drive to practice and yell at the players in person?

By defending this you are saying that if I have a problem with something Trump says that it would be perfectly acceptable for me to call and yell at the girl that takes the MAGA hat orders. Is that acceptable to you?

This is one of the dumbest cliches ever created. Do you really believe this? Are you really trying to say that anything and everything a customer says or does is always right?

For the same reason players don't sit down at a table to express their views but kneel during the anthem instead. They just don't want to make the time.

Kind of stupid that people are harassing a lady who owns a Steeler's merch shop. I was curious if the insanity I've been seeing with the Saints was local or widespread throughout all the NFL markets. I guess that answers my question.

On a collective basis, yep. Especially, when everything about your business model is to appeal to a generalized collective.

Only in the instances where you want their repeat business; if you don't care about them coming back again, then they can be wrong.

The players can be emotional. But the fans can't, got it.

If we start with the premise that we should always be polite to each other, I see nothing wrong with explaining to her exactly why ( respectfully of course) you choose not to patronize her store . If fans had access to players and ownership, they'd get an earful too .

I know that if I saw a player/ coach I'd politely explain my POV to him . I'm not sure why there is an expectation that this is a one- way conversation. Maybe it's because Progressives are so used to lecturing to a captive audience .

Regardless, as the NFL is her revenue partner, she will have to live with how the NFL conducts itself .

What if I want to be like my POTUS and grab her by the p without her consent? Would that be right or wrong?
