Yes.

He's not a conservative. Which makes the left's melt over him doubly hilarious.

They used to love him and give him awards when he was a simple New York businessman.

Everyone here in NY and NJ always saw him as a habitual liar / Playboy.

The real question is if he turns out to make deals with Dems, will media and Dems change their tune?

Are there any real conservatives left in DC?

People keep saying this but Trump's official actions as President, rhetoric and stated campaign promises so far at this point has not matched that.

Trump honestly is way more conservative than Bush 43 ever was at any point in his Presidency.

Even Senator Mike Lee from Utah has said that Trump has surprisingly been more conservative than he expected.

Yes or No?
All depends on Congress.
If Congress passes massive tax cuts, Trump will sign them.

If the Congressional GOPe refuses to lead, Trump will work with members who are more capable. In that instance, infrastructure and Ivanka programs will take center-stage.

Regardless, Judicial appointments will be a different matter.

Lay out for me Trump's detailed position on:

- health care

- climate change

- taxes

- abortion

- criminal justice reform

- Civil Rights

- Supreme Court Justice nominees

- Immigration reform

- Financial regulation

- Gerrymandering reform

- Campaign Finance reform

- Key western alliances like NATO

- Internet consumer protections

- Addressing environmental externalities

Explain to me how secretly he is a Democrat on those issues

Frankly the psychology of this new talking point is kinda fascinating. It either signals a deep level of ignorance about the guy they love by not actually understanding his articulated positions on issues, a authentication that many Trump supporters are in it for the cult of personality alone, principles be damned(since they seem unbothered at the idea Trump may do a 180 and govern as a liberal). Or they are just so attached to their talking heads they follow them down whatever rabbit hole the carrot gets thrown down.

Interesting in any scenario.

It is absurd because Clinton was hardly a liberal, with the only exception being his sex life. Both he and Hillary are Democrats solely to appeal to Minority Voters.

Not a chance at all.

Btw, Bill Clinton was actually less liberal in 2001 when he left office than he was when he started in 1993.

He's supported standard Dem positions on many of these in the past.

Germmymandering used to be a DEM thing.

Probably. He thinks the media is fawning over him for his deal with the democrats, and he'll keep chasing that high.

I think it's honestly campaign rhetoric and tactics that survived the 2016 campaign and still persists to this day and is still stuck in the back of their minds for Never Trumpers and reluctant Trump supporters.

It's like defensive tic or hedge of some sort for them.

Clinton was smart enough to realize he had to work with the Republican Congress to get anything done. He doesn't get enough credit for that.
