or will he cuck out?

Yes this bill will be challenged in court, but with a new conservative justice there is a good chance that this will send abortion issues back to the states and will restrict late term abortions.

No it won't. It will be struck down if it gets to SCOTUS. Trump is replacing a justice that was highly conservative with another highly conservative nominee. It's just going to maintain the same status quo that has struck these types of laws down. Until Kennedy, Ginsburg, or Breyer are replaced the Court's stances on current issues are going to remain the same as they have been.

In this case he better.

It's a terrible law and 6 weeks is not a late term abortion and this doesn't even provide a rape exception so frick that.

We had a conservative supreme court for decades without end and Roe v Wade is still standing strong as ever.

It will never ever be touched again.

Abortion is here to stay and thank goodness because we would be so fricked without it.

How bout a little personal responsibility? Cause we would be so fricked without it. No child deserves to be legally murdered. Not even a child of rape, he or she never asked to be brought into it.

I would say you can't be serious, but then again I know you are.

How about allowing people to be in control of what happens to their own body? I'm guessing you aren't a woman.

Not if they're raped, which is what the poster he responded to was advocating (banning pregnancy as a result of rape from being aborted)

People can have control of their body, but pregnant women have someone else's body inside them, and they shouldn't be able to voluntarily kill that person that is in their body. Taking an innocent life is still taking an innocent life, no matter where that life resides. If it has a heartbeat, then it has life. And that human life has every right to live as any other human life.

less than 2% of all abortions are form rape/incest/HoM...over half are on people who have already had one in the past.. people who use it as a convenience... so lets justify the other 998,000 abortions per year while you wait of a law that YOU like better....

I'm guessing you are a woman, judging by the lack of clear thinking.

Does a pregnant woman have two hearts? Two brains? Twenty fingers and toes?

Daft.

As far as a "child of rape", what does the method of conception have to do with it? If it's wrong to kill a developing human being, it's wrong. Doesn't matter how it came to be.
Does destroying the baby erase the pain of the rape? Of course not.
Is destroying the baby even a net positive for the mother? Who knows.
We know it's the intentional killing of a human being.

And let's not kid ourselves and act like there are a ton of babies out there being conceived by actual rapes.

Exactly. And another point is the fact that people that use this argument (whether they realize they are doing it or not) are also advocating executing the baby for the horrible crime that the rapist committed. Why should anyone other than the rapist pay for the crime?

Debatable. Obviously the law and SCOTUS disagree with you.

So approx 32,000 pregnancies a year are a result of rape. There were 665,000 abortions performed in 2013. That was 200 abortions for every 1000 live births. So it would seem that abortions due to rape make up about 5% of abortions. What about the other 633,000. The USA had 403,000 dead in WWII just for perspective.

That law is deader than a dead baby.

It would cost millions in taxpayer money and it's not going to scotus bc like someone else mentioned, it's not like the court suddenly flipped.

Not really. If it has a heartbeat, and is moving on its own, I think that is a pretty compelling proof of life. Just because politicians say something, that doesn't make it true. The law and SCOTUS aren't infallible.

I personally don't agree with having a rape clause. The child didn't choose how they were conceived

If a soldier kills someone, do they go to jail?

It stops a heartbeat, isn't all life precious and we should punish those who kill!!!
