There seemed to be a great deal of surprise amongst conservatives when Romney lost the presidential election. Based on what I've seen and have been hearing, Landrieu has been able to motivate many people to vote for her where she is the preferred candidate.

Will conservatives be surprised when Cassidy - who ran on the single message that he didn't like Obama - loses?

I will not be surprised, because the fraud will be epic.

I don't think there were a lot of conservatives that were surprised when Romney lost, disappointed yes but not surprised. Now if Hail Mary were to win I would be SHOCKED! I am so pumped to see her loser speech!

It would take an unprecedented level of voter fraud for Mary to pull this out so yes, I will be very surprised if she wins.

Liberals would be just as surprised. Cassidy would have had to step on his dick to lose this one and I don't see that happening. The D's sold Mary out so she doesn't have the resources to pull off an upset.

As far as Romney, a lot of conservatives saw that coming. Virginia was clearly a lost cause and Florida and Ohio were uphill battles.

The only way Mary wins is if the polls are rigged. If that's the case, the Ferguson riots will be child's play IMO. That would mean the federal government not only targeted conservative citizens for IRS purposes, or passed sweeping legislation demanding nationalized healthcare, or gave firearms to several different nations while attempting to disarm its own citizens, or opened its border to allow illegal immigration for socialized programs, but also rigged an election for the people by the people. That would mean the democracy this nation was founded on is now extinct and the liberal counts of this nation are not ready for a revolt by the people.

Where have you been lately?

You better hope this thread doesn't get bumped incessantly if Cassidy indeed blows out Mary tonight.

Let me guess, Orleans Parish, BR and Shitport which are clearly not enough to win?

If do, it was out of sheer stupidity. Nate Silver explained before the election how the polling data favored Obama.

In this case, Landrieu isn't even close in the polls.

Or get it stuck in one of his wheels..

But seriously, when was the last time that a candidate left the state in the last week before an election?

If anyone was suprised that Obama beat Romney 2 years ago, then they either weren't paying attention to or completely ignoring the pre-election polling data. They all favored Obama - I, among others, didn't want to believe it - but it was correct, just like it was last month, and just like it will prove to be today. Cassidy wins by a lot today.

her best night is losing under 5 points. Every pre election poll had her down 12%+ and it got worse closer to the election. Turnout is usually lower in a runoff. She won't win this time.
