Why is everyone making a big deal out of the media making the curtains a big deal?
It seems like when people complain about what a big deal the media makes out of every little deal, that the complainer actually does think its a big deal, and spends a significant amount of time reading and subsequently complaining about it.
If it's not a big deal, then quit making a big deal out of it.

We need to form a committee to make sure the sub- committee, checks on the main committee to first see if the curtains are a big deal.
