Congress attempted to repeal Obamacare 52 times when President Obama was in office. Each time afterwards, there were fundraising emails explaining that it could not be done without a Republican President. Well?

The dog caught the mail truck.

When will congress give him one?

Because it hasn't been repealed yet and that's because they haven't figured out a better plan.

He told O'Reilly during halftime of the Supper Bowl that it will be exorcised in late '17, '18 at the latest. It's going to take some doing to get rid of it, unfortunately.

This is odd. A thread with almost the exact same title is on the first page.

Why is Obamacare still a law?In fact there is only a one letter difference (a).

Senate has been tied up with cabinet appointments. Senator Cassidy just formally introduced his repeal/replace bill in committee today.

No shite. Cross border competition, let the big dog win. Where are the fricking actuaries on this board?

Tell us what can be done, ipso facto!

Because gop lackies are making billions from it.

It takes a special kind of stupid to believe it will be repealed.

Honestly, I really think the GOP is running the clock out in the anticipation that Obamacare will collapse on itself. Then the GOP corporate donors will allow changes.

They should have had a replacement the day Trump was sworn in. By the time it is implemented, it will be close to the next Presidential election.

Humana just announced they are getting out of Obamacare. Will only do employer-only (currently, 44% of Americans get insurance through the workplace).

Look for the other 3 insurers to follow suit.

It's over.

How many YEARS have they had to create a plan?

They don't want to repeal it. They want the power.

It's incredibly complicated. It will need to be slowly killed and replaced. It was intentionally designed that way.

See my post above. How much time has the GOP had to work on this?

Haven't they had something like EIGHT YEARS to come up with and fine tune a replacement? Absolutely pathetic.
