Why is Israel fundraising for their military in America?

I read a couple weeks ago that there was a huge fundraising gala in Los Angeles that netted $38 Million in donations for the IDF.
Like I said it was a couple weeks back, feel free to internet search it if you want links and such.
It seemed awfully strange to me that a nation-state would fund raise for its military in another country.
Gotta be a whole lot of tax evasion and questionable deductions going on there.

You have it 100% backwards. The Muslim/Arabs come for us because we support Israel. If we stopped artificially propping up Israel, we would have no trouble with ISIS or any of that.

Did the fellow Muslims murdered and raped by ISIS support Isreal?
ISIS will be trouble for everyone not submissive to their interpretation of sharia law, regardless of stance on Israel

ISIS is at least partly funded by us.

We could reach an arrangment with all the anti-US groups if we stopped supporting Israel and we should do that.
We should do that because Israel has totally abandoned any idea of getting peace in the region. They can pursue these genocidal policies because we help them and we help them because it feeds the maw of the Military Industrial Complex.
