I'm with you. The partisanship on both sides is also ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to downvote.

You moderates are the reason the globalist boot is on our throat

One day your back will be aching getting up from your required prayers to Mecca, and your fingers will be burnt and stained from baking gay wedding cakes. Your son will look you in the eye and say "dad I've been watching a lot of sesame street and I was supposed to be born a girl"
You'll look at the ground, shake your head, and think to yourself "I should've been far right"

Trump is pretty moderate
Trump is damn near completely non-ideological. He is an opportunist, which is a good thing is business but not so much in politics. It's what made him rich along with that hefty seed money from dad. He morphs into whatever he needs to be to get what he wants. It's obvious now he didn't believe most of the crap he was saying during the campaign but he knew what his voters wanted to hear and fed into that.

What are 5 specific "center-right Repub" positions you hold that run counter to the "far right" that might make me think you are a "RINO" or somesuch thing?

From the Democrat perspective a Moderate is a Republican that will acquiesce to Democrat policy.
frick Moderates. Either be or don't be, but at lease be a man and make a stand.

I felt dirty voting for Johnson in 2012 and 2016.

Everything that is wrong with politics today represented in a two a short little post. Pretty impressive really.

Because everybody should think just like me.
I really kind of thought that was obvious.

I am fiscally conservative, but I realize we have to pay for the infrastructure that makes our society civilized. I don't care much about social issues like gay marriage. I don't give two shits about social justice. I care about my 401k. I care about not getting killed by raghead terrorists. I just want to live my life in peace, in a peaceful and prosperous society. Why am I vilified?
vilified isn't the word I would use to describe this mentality.
You are wishing for something that can't/won't happen. When you realize that there are people out there on both sides that want to abuse you you have to stand up and attempt to do something about it. It is as if "moderate" means I don't want to have any involvement in my government.
You'll wake up one day and they will have taxed the hell out of that 401k that you have built because someone else needs it and you don't need all that money.

If everyone in the world was a far right republican we would have colonized the whole galaxy by now

I think it's mostly that this new form of government our founding fathers gave us, assumed that this government would be by and for principled people with very similar values ideals and goals.
I don't think moderates are viewed as very principled people.
Infrastructure isn't what makes our society civilized. It's decency, and respect for each other and ourselves as human beings. Nanny state government has removed that decency, and self respect for a whole segment of our society. If your principles and ideals tell you that a limited, de-centralized government is good for the people, but vote for ever more taxes to prop up "infrastructure" when the working people left in this country already pay 30-50% of their earnings in taxes in one form or another, then you have no principles regarding the size and scope of government, you just think you do.
If your disregard for these things is so deep that you ignore the fact that some in our society and government are using that disregard to make themselves the face of the government and authority over such things, then you have no principles regarding the freedom of each individual, codified in the Constitution. The people who do give two shits about these things, are using the force of government to make people behave and live the way they desire.
And yet the people that you side with at least part of the time spend a lot of their time trying to destroy the businesses that your 401K is invested in.
And yet the people you make more powerful by supporting and voting for at least part of the time desire open borders and want to import refugees from terrorist countries by the tens or hundreds of thousands with little regard for security, or desire to have these people assimilate into our society.
Because everyone has a different idea of exactly how that goal is achieved. You want peace? Many socialist democrats believe that a great first step would be to disband our military, ignoring the Constitution. Others believe in peace through strength. Socialist democrats believe that it would be more peaceful if guns were outlawed and only criminals and the police had them, again ignoring the Constitution. Others believe that peace can only be achieved by being able to defend yourself and your loved ones, making it a better proposition for those who would disturb that peace, to leave you alone.
Pick a side brother. Try to change the things you disagree with, don't like, or can't accept about your side, but pick one and support it.

Hardcore conservatives are to blame. They consider moderate conservatives "cucks", moderate democrats as far left extremists, and solid Left democrats as Joseph Stalin.

Because most moderates consider facts and in today's world ideology is more important than facts.
