Taxes are necessary. The idea that taxes should be used to punish the wealthy for being wealthy is idiotic.

Government ensures that one man's burden is another man's obligation. It's what they do. They retain power by dividing groups into classes and pitting them against each other for political gain.
Why is someone else's health care my burden? Why is someone else's housing needs my burden? Because almighty government says so even though it is directly contradictory to our nation's constitution.
Limited government and low taxation has created the most prosperous society in human history and the leftist, communist, socialist gang that have destroyed every other free society in human history don't like it.
A prosperous, free people are governments worst nightmare. Dependence makes government strong.
